I would think that something like this goes against the Islamic faith. I don't really think it's right to take the way their women wear their head/face scarves and place such a thing on an almost nude woman. I would think it's not moral or respectful. I can't speak for the Islam community but I respect all religions enough to speak up when I see there's a reason to.
everyone can make their own hijib or buy it. If they have a problem with it, they shouldn't have invented it in the first place Some women are offended by the sole existence of there pieces of "clothing". So I guess that's how the world goes: some invent religion and rules to go with it, others, who are offended by the existence of religions in general and illocigal, anti-feministic rules, are there to break them, and offend the first group This won't stop as long as religious and non-religious folk share the same ground.
I don't have the intention to ofend or disrespect anyone. This was only a class work, the main theme was transgression and achieve shocking, disturbing and controversial images. I won't try to defend my work either, anyone is free to think what they want. I'll only say, that for me, the female body it's one of the most beautiful things that exist and that motivated me to choose this theme.
